On this safari you will visit the most spectacular bird paradise and beautiful northern frontier.Samburu is a journey of about 220km north of Nairobi in Kenya?s arid, northern scrub lands.

Day1:
Pick up at 0800hrs and drive north to Samburu National Reserve.  You will pass near Thika  which boasts the world's third largest pineapple plantation and Karatina the second largest open air market in Africa. Road that takes you through Nyeri,  Naro Moru a haven for trout fishermen and mountain climbers and Nanyuki, where you'll begin a journey across the northernmost foothills of Mount Kenya, eventually heading north to a dusty outpost known as Isiolo. From here it's a fairly short hop to your destination to arrive at around 1400 ours in time for lunch.

After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park famous as the place for the Samburu semi-nomadic tribesmen, the reticulated giraffe, the Gravy's zebra gerenuk, beisa Oryx and a host of the big game including elephant and lion. Meals and overnight at Samburu lodge.

Day 2:
Full day of game viewing in the park famous as the place for the Samburu Semi-nomadic tribesmen, the reticulated giraffe, the Gravy's zebra gerenuk, beisa, Oryx and a host of the big game including elephant and lion. Samburu National Reserve is a wildlife haven. Here you will spot Africa’s big cats - lions, cheetahs and the elusive leopard. Some animals are unique to this northern Kenya park: Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, kudu and gerenuk.

The The Ewaso Nyiro River, the boundary with the neighboring Buffalo Springs National Reserve, is where the elephants, buffalo and other animal species gather for a drink. You will find the scenic semiarid landscape quite dramatic. The reserve is located within the lands of the colourful semi-nomadic Samburu tribesmen.

Day 3:
Leave Samburu early in the morning to make a scenic drive to the west across the Lerochi Plateau with lunch enroute and later descend to the floor of the Great Rift Valley and arrive at Lake Baringo in the afternoon. L Baringo, a fresh water lake in the Rift, is a peaceful oasis in the dry thorn country, bursting with birdlife and with a captivating characteristic of its own. L Baringo possesses two major ornithological attractions: the Gibraltar Island with the largest nesting colony of Goliath Herons in East Africa and the escarpment immediately west of Campi ya Samaki on the western side of the lake. It is the home of Verreaux's Eagle, rare Bristle crowned Starling and Hemprich's Hornbill. Apart from birds, the lake house at Lake Baringo Club.

Day 4:
Depart early in the morning and head south via Lake Bogoria that is a shallow soda lake with a beautiful scenery and home of flamingoes and arrive at the hot springs and the geysers all, which contribute, to the beauty of the lake. After lunch proceed to Lake Nakuru in the south. This is another shallow soda lake, which inhabits more than a million flamingoes.

Lake Nakuru's claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo's and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here.
Dinnner and overnight at  Lake  Nakuru Lodge or Lion Hill lodge.

Day 5:
After breakfast proceed to Nairobi arriving in the early afternoon.
